A Great Day for the Cross Country

On a surprisingly warm and calm Tuesday afternoon, the Anderson’s Bay School Cross Country Championships was held.  This is the first year in many that we haven’t had to reschedule the event due to poor weather.  It was a fantastic afternoon enjoyed by the students, Anderson’s Bay staff and parents.  Congratulations to all of the students who took part.  It was a great effort.  We wish the Year 5 & 6 students all the very best who have qualified for the Ariki Cup Cross Country Championships to be held early Term Three.

A special mention must go to our PALs who helped the younger students around the course by encouraging them and showing them the way.  Also to our fabulous Caretaker Mr Pope who ran many many laps with the students, encouraging them and helping them to finish.  He also did a fabulous job in getting the course ready.
